Traveling along the two-and-one-half-hour journey, you'll meet the characters, follow the clues, and navigate the twists and turns to be the Grand Detective in solving the crime. But, have you fooled them all? Is it you who maybe the prime suspect?
While the action is happening inside, the sweeping views of Rhode Island happening outside; our inspired culinary team, crafty bartenders, and skilled wait staff will be serving a multi-coarse dinner, prepared fresh on board our train. Dinner, Intrigue, and a relaxing journey, all aboard Mystery on the Bellevue Express.

We'll take you back in time to celebrate an elegant, nostalgic dining affair of the Grand Streamliner era in our Aquidneck Spruce dining car, or solve an interactive Who Done-It aboard the Atlantic Rose Theatre dining car.
Departing from Portsmouth, Rhode Island, the Grand Bellevue-Rail Dining Experience offers a unique dinner train restaurant adventure. Embrace the allure of dining cars built in the 1940s, complimented with a nicely restored interior décor, and absorb the ambiance of one of our dining cars that once carried the rich and famous between Boston and Miami.
Dress-to-Impress for the occasion...
The Grand Bellevue Rail Dining Experience is a classic adult setting for those who what to get away from the ordinary. We encourage our guests to dress for a special night out. Smart casual, semi-formal, and cocktail party attire are always welcomed. And for those joining us for Mystery and Intrigue, period attire is permitted and enjoyed; you may even be award winning.
Now Boarding on Platform...
Once checked-in at our period Welcome Station and with tickets in hand, guests can head right up the boarding Platform to one of our classic dining cars. Greeted with a Smile, listen for the train's horn to sound, feel the wheels start to roll, the experience begins - ALL ABOARD! Travel with us along a once busy rail line as our staff delight guests with craft cocktails and serving a multi coarse meal throughout the trip. Enjoy our relaxed paced journey with views of Narragansett Bay, the majestic Mt. Hope Bridge, and the surrounding natural beauty of Aquidneck island; we might even catch a stunning Sunset.
