Mystery on the Bellevue Express
For those seeking a more unique experience, travel along for grand mystique and intrigue aboard Mystery on the Bellevue Express, adding an extra layer of excitement to your Rhode Island dinner train restaurant adventure. Meet intriguing characters, follow the clues, and navigate the twists and turns in solving the on-board crime. But, have you fooled them all? Is it you who may be the prime suspect in this murder mystery dinner adventure? Period attire is not necessary, however welcomed. Dress up, have fun, and put your crime hat on; you may even find yourself an award-winning Grand Detective.
While the action unfolds inside, enjoy the sweeping views of Rhode Island outside; our inspired culinary team, crafty mixologists, and skilled stewards will be serving a multi-course dinner, prepared fresh on board our train. Departing from Portsmouth, Rhode Island, the Grand Bellevue-Rail Dining Experience offers a unique dinner train restaurant adventure featuring dining cars built in the 1940s, with our freshly restored interior décor, that once traveled between Boston and Miami.
We'll take you back in time to celebrate an elegant, nostalgic dining affair of the Grand Streamliner era in our Aquidneck Spruce dining car, or solve an interactive Murder Mystery aboard the Atlantic Rose Theatre dining car.
Dress-to-Impress for the occasion...
The Grand Bellevue Rail Dining Experience is a classic adult setting created as a departure from the ordinary. We highly suggest our guests to dress for a special night out. Smart casual, semi-formal, and cocktail party attire are welcomed. For those daring to join us for mystery and intrigue, guests in period costumes are encouraged, maybe even award winning. for a more entertaining evening out; but it's not necessary.
Our tables seat four, and seating is limited. Unlike other dinner trains, for your comfort, If you are a party of two, you will not be seated at a table with other guests. Please, no children under 16 years old
Now Boarding on Platform...
Once checked-in at our period designed Welcome Station, and with tickets in hand, guests can head right up the boarding platform to one of our classic dining cars for a unique dinner train experience. Greeted with a smile from the crew, listen for the train's horn to sound and feel the wheels start to roll. That's the signal the experience begins - ALL ABOARD!
Whichever Grand Bellevue experience guests chose, enjoy our relaxed-paced journey along the once busy rail line traveled by the affluent Gilded Age society aristocrats seeking their summer cottage getaway to Newport, Rhode Island. Our Mixologists delight guests with craft cocktails, while our Service team attends to a multi-course meal throughout the trip, making this a memorable restaurant adventure.
