WHAT ABOUT INCLEMENT WEATHER?

Our trains run in all weather. However, should we need to cancel due to extreme weather conditions, we will notify you immediately.

â–º

WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY IF I AM UNABLE TO KEEP MY RESERVATION?

There are no refunds within 7 days of departure. We will try to accommodate a reschedule with a 7-day advanced notice. The rescheduled trip must be within the same calendar year.

WHEN DO I NEED TO ARRIVE?

Doors open one hour prior to departure for cocktail reception hour. Passengers should arrive 30 minutes before their trip. Unfortunately we cannot “hold trains” for late passengers due to schedule restraints and inconvenience to other guests.

CAN I BRING A CHILD?

Passengers understand that children over 12 only are welcomed onboard and must be accompanied by an adult at all times. No infants or small children are allowed.

â–º

CAN I BRING A PET OR COMFORT ANIMAL ON THE TRAIN?

Service dogs are permitted onboard by law. Non-service dogs are not permitted and are strictly enforced. Please contact us in advance to verify the information so we may provide the best seating for you, the service dog, and our other passengers.

We do have bathroom facilities available in each car.

CAN I SMOKE ON THE TRAIN?

No. Outside alcohol or food is strictly prohibited onboard.

â–º

HOW DO I MAKE RESERVATIONS?

Our trains are reservation only. Tickets may be purchased online or reserved by calling our office at 401-295-1203 during business hours: Tuesdays through Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Groups of 12 or more seeking reservations for any of our excursions are asked to call the office so we may block off the appropriate number of seats. Private group events require a minimum of 35 guests.

â–º

ARE YOU HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE?

Unfortunately, we are not. Due to the narrow vestibules and door openings on our historic passenger cars, we cannot accommodate wheelchairs. We can, however, accommodate folding walkers. Passengers must also use low-lying steps to board the train.

WHERE DO I BOARD THE TRAIN?

All of our Grand Bellevue Rail Dining train cars board at Portsmouth Junction Station, One Alexander Road in Portsmouth RI.
